What's Wrong With This Place?

Passage: Romans 8:18–8:25

God made this world, and it was absolutely astonishing. It was full of stunning beauty and precise functioning. Yet, that is not the world that we live in. While we live in the same creation that God made, it is horribly broken. When the sin entered the world, the human heart was turned against God and all of creation was subjected to frustration as well. How ought this frame the way we look at life? What are reasonable expectations for life in a fallen world? What do we miss if we fail to think deeply about the effects of sin entering into our world?
