There is so much unrest in the world! Every news update seems to describe the world going into greater chaos in Afghanistan, Haiti, China, and numerous other nations. This is all on top of the various conflicts going on in our own nation! Moreover, I have a constant battle going on in my heart in my fight with sin! Everything feels like it is spiraling out of control! Jesus speaks to us in the midst of unrest. In Mark 4:35-6:6, Jesus reminds us that he really is in control - even when we don't feel it. Jesus' words to Jairus are the words we so often need to hear: "Do not fear, only believe" (5:36).
