We will begin to study the book of Malachi this Sunday, and it will be the last prophet we look at in our series on the Minor Prophets. Throughout the book, the word "covenant" is repeated numerous times so the message of the book is about God's covenant relationship with his people. Notice in Malachi 1:1-5 that God declares his love for his people, but the people discard this notion because of their circumstances.
