The Gospel for the Pharisee
January 8, 2023 Speaker: Keith Kneeshaw Series: Gospel Reset
Topic: Gospel Living Passage: Philippians 3:1–11
In this sermon, we continue in the "Gospel Reset" series by studying Philippians 3:1-11. The Gospel is the good news of salvation and the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. It also frames how believers are intended to live. However, when God's people forget the Gospel, we begin to live in ways that certain character sketches will help us understand. This passage challenges our tendency to live like a Pharisee, pretending to be someone we aren't and establishing our credibility through rule following. Listen as we discover the freedom that the Gospel brings to us.
