There are days and moments when we really know we've messed up. We hurt someone, we said something we shouldn't have, we have outright sinned against another and all we can do is ask for their forgiveness and hope they are merciful. That is a brutal position to be in. Genesis tells us that God entered into a relationship and covenant with Adam and Eve, and they not only dismiss God's grace in this, but they refuse to be under the lordship of God. They mess up, they have sinned against God and have no hope. The consequences are far greater than anyone can bear. Yet, God is gracious, and in that grace, he enters into a new covenant with them, and through faith, us. Join us this Sunday as we look into God's incredible grace and find out what it means to live under the Covenant of Grace.
