It's hard to believe, but this Sunday is the first week of Advent, which is a season that includes the four Sundays prior to Christmas. We will look at various characters in the Christmas story each week as our Advent sermon series. Luke 1:1-80 describes the lead up to the birth of Jesus, along with the birth of John the Baptist. John's parents, Zechariah and Elizabeth, are quite interesting to study since they portray the desire, doubt, and hope of the arrival of Christ. Join us on Sunday as we explore the first pair of the characters of Christmas.
