When you look at difficulty, what do you see? Do you see only the hurdles in front of you, or do you see a situation that God Himself is leading you into? Do your thoughts rush toward all the ways this might fall apart, or do you pause to remember the character and love of God as you face what lies ahead? Most of us drift toward fear and anxiety when challenges arise, just like the people of Israel in Numbers 13:1–14:12. Yet Scripture calls us to live by faith, believing that God is true to His word and cares for us in the midst of every uncertainty.
