Numbers 21:1-9
Look and Live

With this Sunday being Easter Sunday, we will step ahead briefly in our sermon series to Numbers 21. We’ll return in the coming weeks to chapters 15–20, but for now we want to focus on one of the most surprising moments in Israel’s wilderness journey. In Numbers 21:1-9 the people look at God’s daily mercy and call it “worthless,” revealing a deep disdain for the God who provides. Their rebellion brings real judgment, yet the Lord meets them with an unexpected way of deliverance. Moses lifted up a bronze serpent and offered healing to anyone willing to look in faith. Jesus takes that very image and applies it to Himself in John 3, showing that He is the true and final One lifted up for our salvation. The invitation is as simple and as urgent as it was in the wilderness. Look to Jesus and live. Join us this Easter as we celebrate the resurrection and the life offered to all who trust in Him.
