The book of Ezekiel concludes with one last vision which spans chapters 40 to 48. This vision has been said to be the "direct counterpart to the pre-destruction vision in chapters 8–11." As the Holy Spirit takes Ezekiel on a tour of the New Temple, he sees the glory of God return in Ezekiel 43. This is the crux of the vision since God will dwell with his people in the new city and the new land. This also serves as a promised hope that awaits all who belong to Jesus.
