Grace... God's undeserved favor.  Those who have faith in Christ are saved apart from their works or personal merit.  Justification is a word that describes our standing before God.  He has declared us righteous in his sight.  This means that has both forgiven us of our sin and credited us with the perfect righteousness of Jesus.  And all of this is a free gift.  But what happens when we forget this and start to live as if our works merit something for us?
