James 1:9-11
The Glory of the Low Place

How we feel life is going for us often depends on our circumstances. When we think about our financial situation, we can easily feel badly about ourselves when we struggle financially, and the opposite is true when our finances multiply. We can begin to think more of ourselves because life is working out well. James 1:9-11 speaks directly to both of these tendencies. Regardless of our situation, it is transient. Neither riches nor scarcity endure, and the person who experiences them is as fleeting as the flowers of the grass. Join us on Sunday as we explore James' exhortation to not allow our circumstances to become our identity and our hope.
