Patience is not something that comes easily to us. No one has to teach us the benefits of immediate satisfaction - even babies and toddler understand this. The imperative of James to “Be patient…” (5:7) is one that strikes at some of our most selfish desires. This Sunday, we’ll discover the need and the beauty of patience, and dangerously pray for the Lord to cultivate such a heart within us.
