James 4:6-12
Faith Without Humility is Dead

As we've grappled with humility and meekness over the last couple of weeks, those topics can easily become ones which are hard to put into action. What actual actions would display the humility that God produces in us? James 4:6-12 serves as a very practical application of the heart of humility. This passage is full of imperatives (commands), all of which are evidence of humility: submit, resist, draw near, cleanse, purify, be wretched, mourn, weep, turn laughter to mourning, humble yourselves, and don't speak evil against one another. Join us as we explore the ways in which humility shows up in our actions.
