James 2:1-7
The Lord of Glory

When you drive through Myrtle Beach or Pigeon Forge, it doesn't take long to realize that we are drawn to bright, shiny things. If that we're not true, those towns would not be lit up like Christmas trees. As much as we can make fun of a tourist town, it is really telling that quite often we treat people the same way. We are drawn to their appearance or status or wealth. When we treat people differently according to their means, what does that tell us about our understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ? James 2:1-7 speaks to these things. Do we see life through the lens of the glory of the here and now? Or do we see life according to the glory of God? Join us on Sunday as we seek to understand how God's glory shapes how we view all of life.
