The Christian life is a battlefield. Each sphere of life is a fight to pursue righteousness, and to dispel wickedness. The battle is fought in our schools, and our workplaces - and it is even fought within our own homes. In Mark 10:1-16, Jesus is confronted with the opposition, who seek to undermine God's purpose for the household, and to bring confusion to God's plan. In this battle, Jesus not only brings the clarity we so desperately need, but fights for us in our helpless estate.
