How frustrated have you been with either God's delay in answering your prayers, or an answer which really doesn't even seem to help the problem at all? Why does God seem so silent? Why are things not getting better, but worse? These are the types of questions that Habakkuk is crying out to God with. And the Lord reminds the prophet of his sovereignty and his purposes which are beyond what could even be imagined. This Sunday, we'll be jumping into another Minor Prophet, where God reminds us from Habakkuk 1:1-2:1 to wait on him, to stand, and watch.
